  • Music that brews.

    “We’re
trying to make a statement with the way music is now. Everything is
instant, records are driven by singles, everything is immediate
gratification. There’s no attention span for the audience. Music is
dying. You gotta sit with it and have patience. It’s something that
we’re counterculture — we like music that brews for a little bit and
you have to sit with it and it takes you on a journey. That’s not
something that the average music buyer likes, but I think our fans do.” -Hammock

Jonsi from Sigur Ros on Hammock:
    “I listened to your
album two times through… you know what it takes… great soundscapes,
great melodies, best stuff I’ve heard on myspace – hugs, Jonsi”  (credit)
